"Failure"

Yup, it's official!

I got my first "F".

I mean, to be honest, it is completely my fault and not my professor's. I'm not going to play the blame game and accuse everybody but myself, because it's totally clear that it's my own damn fault.

(That doesn't mean I'm happy about it or proud of it...at all!)

My professor gave me an "Incomplete", which is exactly what it sounds like, but I didn't realize that there was a time limit on how long you could take to finish it. So I just so happened to check my grades from last semester for a different class, and what do you know, my "I" was now a big, fat, epic fail "F".

Ironically, I discovered my "F" while sitting in the library, trying to write this seven page paper that has been eluding me for so very long.

I mean, I'm still going to try and write this damn paper within the next few days, and I'm still going to turn it in, and maybe she will have mercy on me and at least give me a "D" or something...but she was a very "by the book" professor, so probably not.

Another fun fact, my first "F" in high school was also in my junior year, but I went to summer school and it was replaced with a nice, happy "A+". What's different now? I am NOT retaking that class again! You couldn't pay me enough!

Sigh. We'll see what happens I guess.

Back to the Ol' Grindstone

Classes start tomorrow...
Did I really just have a month off? Sure doesn't seem like it!

I Felt Like This Needed Its Own Post?

Is it possible to feel tired, apathetic, horny, depressed, excited, anxious, nervous, nauseous, worthless, optimistic, content and OLD at the same time???

it's probably because i'm at work and it's only 1:30am :/

FML todayyyy...I WANT WARM WEATHER NOW!!

We're Baaaaaccckkk

So I intentionally did NOT write in this over Spring Break. Not exactly sure of the reasoning behind it, but oh well!

But now I'm back in New York, and it feels like I didn't even HAVE a break, of course!

I'm at work, and I HATE it, and I'm REALLY BEHIND in my Screenwriting class (and I'm not sure how that happened)...

Whatever...FML? Yeah...definitely!

A Thursday Night at the John St. Desk

So I'm working again tonight.  I really hate this job, and would have quit a long time ago if it wasn't such easy money.  PAY DAY TOMORROW!

But more importantly, practically all of my friends from back home just so happen to be coming to New York this weekend!  This list of favorites includes:  my brother, all of my HS Drama friends, and my asian from Harvard!!  This weekend is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!

My asian is staying with me in the dorm, and my brother/HS people are staying uptown on their field trip, and a couple of my senior friends are visiting Hofstra, then hanging in the city!  It's going to be so good to see all of them!  I miss my friends back home so much (and I love it even more when they come up to the city to visit me!)

This Just In:  The printer at the desk just ran out of paper, so I now have to handwrite all of the passes...JOY! :/  (It's only 12:16am at this point in time--approximately two more hours to go!)

I'm gonna play around with the look of this blog some more!  It's better than doing homework! :)
